History
Tony Pallet Inc. is the vision of Anthony
Russo. It has grown from its humble beginnings 30 years ago,
in his back yard to one of the most recognized and respected
names in the pallet industry. We serve some of the largest companies
in New Jersey, including UPS, Toys R Us, Barnes & Noble and
Liz Claiborne. We are honored to carry on his legacy.
Anthony Russo started by picking up old pallets on the side of
the road, fixing them in his backyard and then resold them. 30
years later, Tony Pallet Inc. is thriving, hitting more than
$4 million in annual sales and employing nearly 50 people.
We pride ourselves on always having a person answer the phone.

Today, Tony Pallet manufactures, reconditions and recycles pallets at our facility
in Newark. Anthony passed away in 2004 and his sister, Vera Russo has since taken
over the business as President and CEO. We currently have a large inventory of
standard pallets covering four acres. With computer-aided design, we can make
custom-sized pallets for customers that need something special, such as pharmaceutical
companies and specialty manufacturers.
Tony Pallet operates a fleet of six tractors and nearly 60 trailers. We are able
to leave empty trailers for our customers to load with broken pallets and switch
them when they're full.
Tony Pallet stays on top of the changing regulations governing exports. For instance,
we can provide heat-treated or fumigated pallets for overseas shipping to ensure
no unwanted pests stow away on the trip abroad.
As we grow, Tony Pallet is getting "Greener". Our grinder allows us
to recycle all wood and nails from pallets at the end of their life cycle. We
are looking into recycling for biomass fuels in the future.
