Pallets for Export
Any wood packaging materials that are to be shipped overseas must
follow ISPM-15 guidelines. ISPM-15 compliance for wood packaging
materials currently allows for two treatment options:
- Heat Treatment (HT): Wood packaging material should be heated
in a schedule that achieves a minimum core temperature of 56*C
for a minimum of 30 minutes.
- Methyl Bromide (MB) Fumigation: The wood packaging material
should be fumigated with methyl bromide.
Currently there over 50 countries that require all
pallets and/or solid wood packing material to be either Heat Treated
or Fumigated. We keep track of the latest regulations, so you can
